Preparation

The following installing documentation requires a working and error-free WordPress installation.

First you will need to download and install WordPress. You can read through a detailed explanation with plenty of images if you need to. Remember when you are creating the database to make a note of the database name, login and password as you will need this information during installation. WordPress does not create the database for you.

Configuring the Theme - Step 1: the Navigation Menu

Your theme supports a special drop-down 2-level navigation called Superfish. This is what you get after configuring:

Step 1: Go to the »Appearance« menu and select »Menus«. Create a new menu with a name of your choice.

Step 2: Add Pages to your menu

Step 3: Select theme location and save.

Step 4: Choose the arrangement and save your Menu.

Your Glossy Red theme has two special widgets: the Revo-Subscribe widget and the Revo-Twitter widget. Configuring these widgets is very easy.

The two Revo-Widgets are sidebar widgets. They will displayed incorrect if used in the footer.

The Revo-Subscribe Widget

Configuring the Revo-Subscribe widget: Go to the »Appearance« menu and select »Widgets«, drag it into the »Sidebar« widget-area and type your Feedburner feed-url (if present, otherwise leave the Feed URL-Field blank. It will used automatically the feed-address of your WordPress website), type your twittername and hit »Save«.

That's it! Now the icons are linked with your twitter-account and your Feedburner or blog-feed.

The Revo-Twitter Widget

Configuring the Revo-Twitter widget: Go to the »Appearance« menu and select »Widgets«, drag it into the »Sidebar« widget-area and type your twitter-name and hit »Save«.

Now the twitter-widget shows your last 3 tweets in the sidebar.
